The development of air quality in Carinthia is a very positive one.
By replacing old heating systems a significant reduction of air pollutants, in particular PM10 and B(a)pyren could be achieved. The threshold values of the Air Quality Directive have been reached for several years and at many monitoring stations the values are clearly below the threshold.
