The Psychosocial Care Network is a service proposal at different Care Points (or services) part of the Unified Health System, regulated by Ordinance GM No. 3,088, of 2011, and subsequent ones. This proposal is based on the premise that mental health is transversal, that is, it crosses the different forms of physical and psychological suffering and is not only influenced by the actions of the health sector. For this reason, this network is made up of different equipment and types of services, such as Coexistence and Cooperative Centers – CECCOs, Psychosocial Care Centers and Basic Health Units (UBS) are gateways to care in the area of Mental Health within the Municipal Health Department of São Paulo, and also the Integrated Therapeutic Welcoming Service – SIAT linked to the Redenção Program.
