(V.D.10) Vulnerable Families

The Social Incubator is linked to the Municipal Work and Income Generation Program – CONDUZ Program, established by Law nº7801/2023. One of the objectives of the CONDUZ program is the creation of social incubators aiming to encourage solidarity-based economic enterprises with regard to training, monitoring and access to means and spaces for production. This most vulnerable population uses the services, programs, projects and actions of public Social Assistance policy. Mogi das Cruzes has around 66,788 families registered in the Federal Government’s Single Registry for Social Programs. There are 154,470 people, of which 79,282 are people between 18 and 59 years old, an economically active population. Aiming to contribute to the challenges posed at a global level, such as the UN agenda for 2030 and the solutions that have been built for another economy, which aim to include everyone and not a few, as demonstrated by data on social inequality, this action aims to generate work and income, through the implementation of a social incubator in Jundiapeba, seeking to strengthen values such as cooperative work, human and sustainable development and self-management in communities. As well as serving as a model for the implementation of other incubators in the municipality.
