Aim of the Good Practice
The Carinthian family and youth card enables families to take part in cultural events and leisure activities at a reduced price or to take advantage of discounted tutoring for school children.
Target Group of the Good Practice
All families with children up to the age of 18, their grandparents, separated parents or foster parents with their main residence in Carinthia (family card), respectively all children and young people up to the age of 19 (youth card).
Implementation period
The Carinthian youth card has been implemented continuously since 2012 and is still ongoing. The Carinthian family card has been implemented since 2017 and is still ongoing.
Consistency over time
The services of the Goodie Club and offers from the state youth department have been adjusted after a corresponding needs assessment. The digitization of the family card is currently being implemented.
