The “Dialogues for Peace and Security in Irapuato” are part of a comprehensive strategy promoted by the President Lorena Alfaro, to address security issues from a citizen’s perspective, to understand the phenomenon of insecurity in the municipality, its origins and root cause. The onjetive is to create a frank and open dialogue with all sectors of Irapuato’s society.

The Dialogues for Peace began between the months of October and November in 2022, the Institute for Security and Democracy (INSYDE), Carried out a poll about perception and victimization in Security, Subsequently, on January 30, 2023, the dialogues with the most representative actors of each sector began, in addition to the participation of national and international experts on the subject.
