The activity is carried out in a circle and hand in hand, with the facilitator in the center. This presents the steps that must be memorized by the participants so that they can repeat them throughout the song. This practice trains attention, concentration and group spirit. The workshop currently offers twenty vacancies.

Offer social integration, promotion of quality of life and mental health, well-being, experience of cooperation and harmony between participants, as well as enabling impact-free physical activity, more suitable for the elderly.

People of all ages can participate, but demand is predominantly from elderly people, whether or not they have mental disorders.

Consistency over time
The initial difficulty was having a professional qualified in Circular Dance, an activity that requires training. The solution found was to look for a professional in the municipality willing to work on a voluntary basis together with the unit's psychologist.
Evaluation of the Good Practice
This workshop has a lot of support, a very low absence rate and a lot of demand. The change in behavior of the participants over time is visible, showing more joy, an improvement in mood and the formation of new social bonds.
