The twenty participants meet weekly to rehearse songs suggested by the group itself. Rehearsals are marked by an atmosphere of relaxation and entertainment, with open space for dialogue and the role of each person. From a collective construction, the songs are selected and rehearsed, focusing on the next scheduled performances. Volunteer musicians also help with the group’s vocal preparation. It is worth noting that the CECCO choir has a CD recorded in partnership with a musician from the city, who provided all the necessary equipment free of charge. This CD had a relevant impact on the dynamics of the group, which strengthened its interpersonal relationships and showed individual improvements in behavior.

Consistency over time
The initial difficulty was related to the need for musical knowledge, specifically regarding vocal work, as well as the acquisition of instruments to accompany rehearsals. The solution found was the search for volunteer musicians with their own instruments.
Evaluation of the Good Practice
This is possibly the most prominent workshop at CECCO, with recognition from other users of the service and beyond. The group receives invitations from various places to perform, a fact that greatly contributes to the choristers' self-esteem. The strengthening of family ties also stands out as positive, given the attendance of friends and family at the group's presentations.
