Throughout the year, several communication campaigns are carried out to inform the entire population of the city of São Paulo how to prevent, diagnose, and treat various types of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, among others. The Department’s technical area of chronic diseases created a calendar and, with the support of the Communication Office, has implemented the following campaigns: – National Day for the Prevention and Combat of Arterial Hypertension – Mother’s Day and Women’s Cardiovascular Health – Father’s Day – National Cholesterol Prevention and Control Day – World Heart Day – National Obesity Prevention Day – National Diabetes Day – World and National Diabetes Day. The materials for this campaign are available on the Department’s website and are also converted into communication pieces for social networks.
