The City of São Paulo, through the Municipal Department of Subprefectures (SMSUB), recovered the entire length of the 10,185 square meters of green area on the sides of Avenida 23 de Maio, the equivalent of 2.4 linear kilometers. The planting of species that adapt to local conditions, combined with the daily maintenance of the gardens, transformed the sides of one of the main roads of the north-south corridor into a natural mural, in different tones given by the color of the seedlings. Plant seedlings of 34 species were planted, including white moray eels, iresines, white and red russelias, vedelias, blue agapanthus, and American and Amazonian ferns.
