The published norm brings together recommendations and guidelines based on the experiences of the SEHAB technical team with the objective of guiding designers who will develop social housing projects in the municipality of São Paulo, updating the SEHAB publication of 2011 called “Project Guidelines”. The premise for projects of social housing developments (EHIS) is to seek to adapt good techniques to the best conditions of habitability, safety, durability, and economy in the maintenance of buildings. These guidelines are guidelines and do not replace the technical standards and legislation in force, which must be fully complied with.
