Aim of the Good Practice
The Youth Department of Carinthia organizes and sponsors annual summer holiday camps at socially acceptable prices.
Target Group of the Good Practice
All families with children aged 7 – 14 years.
Implementation period
Annually in July and August since 2010.
Consistency over time
The number of holiday camps was increased from the original 2 weeks to 6 weeks in line with demand. Subsidies for holiday camps from other providers were introduced since 2010.
Evaluation of the Good Practice
Ongoing adjustments to actual needs by expanding the range.
